“The impact is direct, dramatic and large. And it continues. Every day the situation will become more and more difficult,” he said. Newly appointed Ag Minister, Mykola Solskyi, said Ukraine has stocks of grain intended for export worth about $7.5 billion, and previously they exported 4 to 5MMT of grain a month through ports but now only a few thousand tonnes were going across western borders.
