Friday’s 2022 World Cup draw in Qatar placed the United States men’s national team in Group B with England. The group also includes Iran and the winner of a European playoff that will be decided in June when Wales takes on either Scotland or Ukraine. The US will open play against that playoff winner on November 21 before facing England on November 25, the day after Thanksgiving, followed by a November 29 clash with Iran. The Americans are competing in the World Cup for the first time since 2014.

Fellow CONCACAF qualifiers Mexico and Canada were drawn into Groups C and F, respectively. The 32-team tournament, the first World Cup held in the Middle East, runs from Nov. 21 to Dec. 18.

very interesting group constellations - unfortunately i will boycott the WorldCup. Qatar has killed thousands of migrant workers for this competition and treated the once survived the inhuman work conditions like shit. The respect for human rights does not exist in Qatar at all

Im willing to be an errand boy, a gardener or any form of odd job just to feed my children🙏🏾. They've been going to school and back on an empty stomach and that cripples me as a father. I humbly ask for any tinned food or grocer you don't need🙏
