Suffolk County Police confirm exclusively to Eyewitness News that their Hate Crimes Unit is conducting an investigation into Hesh's Recycling.
"Why would you do that?" asked Carpenter's brother, William Carpenter."Why do you still think like that? C'mon now. We're not our ancestors. It's a lot different now. Now we will fight back."Carpenter gave a statement to Suffolk Police this week. He said a detective told him that when he went to Hesh's Recycling the doll was gone.
