A Harrisburg nonprofit has won $5,000 with a chance to double the winnings.

where supporters can vote to help the business and nonprofit reach their donation goal. If the featured story receives at least 500 votes— shares to social media and comments on their story— by Sept. 30, then the donation will be increased to $10,000.

Access Insurance Agency hosts monthly events to educate and provide children with proper resources to become successful young adults. The company also supports a free bowling and pizza party twice a year organized by Bro2Go for their supporters and members. The $10,000 donation would allow Access Insurance Agency to add more community events to their roster to support Bro2Go’s many programs.

“The people associated with Bro2Go truly care about human life and making the world a better place,” Lee Ann Ormsbee, owner of Access Insurance Agency, said in a news release. “We are forever grateful to receive this Make More Happen Award from Liberty Mutual and Safeco to provide Bro2Go with much needed funds to continue their impactful work.”

Throughout 2022, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance will select up to 37 independent agents nationwide for a “Make More Happen Award” donating up to $370,000 to the nonprofits they support. Agencies became eligible for the award by submitting an application and photos demonstrating their commitment to a specific nonprofit.
