A man arrested in connection with the murder of his estranged wife has been arrested and appeared in court together with two accused hitmen in Lephalale, Limpopo.

Police spokesperson Mamphaswa Seabi says the accused had been linked to the killing of the man’s estranged wife in the Onverwacht suburb in June last year.

“A 52-year-old man has been arrested along with his two accomplices aged 40 and 48 for allegedly killing his estranged wife, whose body was found in her house outside Lephalale town in Onverwacht. The Provincial Commissioner of the police in Limpopo, Thembi Hadebe has lauded the investigating team for the excellent investigations and thanked community members for positive information that led to the arrest of the suspects.
