The owner of an oceanfront home in Ponte Vedra has put it up for auction without reserve, looking for a quick and certain sale.
Switching from a traditional sale to an auction was based on a desire to have a quicker, more certain sale, said Trayor Lesnock, president of Platinum Luxury Auctions, which will conduct the auction on Friday. The property has been listed for sale a few times in the past decade, spending a few months for sale in 2013 and and in 2017. It was most recently listed in March for $4.2 million, with the price lowered to $3.85 million in July.“The traditional real estate method of selling this home just didn’t work for the seller on the seller’s given timeline,” Lesnock said. “He wanted to expedite the process.”“We were at a big, big, big, big, peak,” Lesnock said. “Now we’re recalibrating from that peak.
