The hotel workers union and owners have dropped six figure donations in Democrat Hochul’s re-election bid — after she delivered a $450 million bailout program for the tourism industry.

Vijay Dandapani, president and CEO of the New York City Hotel Association, donated $5,000, saying: “Gov. Hochul said she would be supportive of jobs for the hotel industry. The association wanted to support her.”

“On November 8th, New Yorkers are going to clean up Albany by cleaning house and electing a new governor.” Hotel Trades Council spokesman Austin Shaffran defended the union’s donations to Hochul after she helped workers laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic, and boasted that HTC was one of the first major unions to back the Democrat’s re-election.“The recovery funds that Governor Hochul announced was a lifeline that kept these tens of thousands of workers off of the poverty line.

She is Bought and paid for

Pay to play

So much it's just bribery and payoffs writ large.

Tammany Hall. Version 2022.

Can she be anymore despicable.

They’ll need more than a bailout when tourists quit coming because of the crime

Student loan bailout, lord Gavin in CA sending checks out two weeks ahead of midterms…and wait for mayor Pete using the infrastructure slush fund closer to 2024 during Dem primaries and general election 🤔

Short-sighted of them. If pro-criminal pols remain in power there soon won’t be many tourists. Making NYC safe in the Giuliani-Bloomberg years did more for tourism than any bailout.

Another Corporate democratic ghoul.

Lol, who wants to come to NY with all this crime? Vote Zeldin!

So she is a corrupt 🐎.

Not the industry, the unions.
