The aggravated robbery was reported on Oct. 12 around midnight outside the bail bond business, located in the 6900 block of Denison Street.
Police said the owner was leaving the business while his wife and son waited in the truck for him. As he was closing the gate, one of the suspects reportedly charged at him while pointing a gun. The owner attempted to run but was shot in the leg. Police said the suspect then took his money and ran back to the get-away vehicle. As this was happening, the second suspect reportedly approached the family’s truck and demanded their money. He struck the owner’s wife in her face with his gun and snatched her purse.
Both suspects were seen fleeing in the get-away vehicle, described as a blue or green four-door sedan.Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information that will lead to the charging or arrest of the suspects involved.
