Richester Foods has launched a probe into its XPOP Energy Cola Fizz lollipops after pupils complained of food poisoning, allegedly after consuming them.On Friday, dozens of pupils at a Durban school displayed several symptoms, including nausea and abdominal pain.

Richester Foods managing director Hussein Cassim said the products had been identified and were in the laboratory for testing. He said the company would issue preliminary results on Monday.
