: A company was today fined RM10,000 by the Sessions Court here after pleading guilty to two charges of using non-certified communication equipment and apparatus that caused harmful disruption in February 2019.

The court ordered the company to pay a fine of RM2,000 for the first charge and RM8,000 for the second charge. For the offence, the company in question was charged under Regulation 16 of the Communications and Multimedia Regulations 2000 read together with Regulation 16 of the same Regulations which can be punished under Regulation 37 of the same law.
