The chief executive of the Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia has taken leave, after the deputy Liberal leader called for her position to be reviewed over its role in the government’s industrial relations changes.

The sweeping industrial relations law is set to pass parliament this week.Ms Boyd also emailed colleagues advising them against joining a planned campaign on Sky News with the Business Council and Minerals Council.
