SVB Financial Group Inc. said Monday that it tapped Erin Platts as president of SVB Private, a key growth avenue for the company that includes private banking, wealth planning, trust, brokerage and investment management services.
Platts also will join SVB’s executive committee in her new role. She is currently CEO of Silicon Valley Bank U.K. and head of Europe, Middle East and Africa . Under her leadership, Silicon Valley Bank U.K. recently incorporated as a standalone bank and SVB subsidiary. She’s been with Santa Clara-based SVB for more than 18 years.
In his new role, Sabow will focus on the bank’s commercial banking business across Israel, Ireland, Germany and the Nordic countries in addition to the U.K.
