His highly distinguished academic career includes being Nottingham University Business School Malaysia dean, University of Nottingham Teaching and Learning assistant director, INTI International University and Colleges deputy chief academic officer and Wawasan Open University associate vice chancellor.

Prof Lee also serves as a member on the Board of Examiners, Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers. He was also entrusted with the responsibility of developing the Programme Standards: Business Studies for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency . “SMBS has a portfolio of nine undergraduate programmes and three postgraduate programmes that cover accounting, actuarial science, business analytics, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, financial technology, management and marketing. Students can select from a number of modules to tailor their programme towards their future employability,” he says.SMBS has a Bloomberg trading laboratory equipped with 12 terminals.
