Companies including investment giant Vanguard Group, workplace technology company Paycom Software Inc. and others have sent directives to employees in recent weeks, urging workers to follow existing hybrid schedules or
on additional days in 2023, according to internal memos viewed by The Wall Street Journal and interviews with employees. In some cases, bosses have told those who fail to comply that they could face termination within weeks.
No thanks, plenty of remote jobs avail. People will make other choices because they are prioritizing other things in their life, like not wasting an hour or more a day commuting, exposing themselves to sick co-workers, able to attend more family events easier. Stop micromanaging!
People saying employees should “get back in the office” were the same people that used to tattle in kindergarten and remind the teacher to assign homework. There is nothing done at a desk in a building that can’t be done at a desk at your house so shut your yappers, dorks
2-3 days in the office 2-3 days remote is the way to start
More parents are telling their children to clean their bedrooms and do their homework. Some children are pushing back. It’s all the same learned behavior.
*sigh
Employee can just quit
How bout, report to the office or lose your job!
Then they need fired. Period
Wait I thought elonmusk was the bad guy for doing this?
Just cruel. All your fault Elon
These employees are free to leave.
Drinking
Nah
Spend hours commuting- then sit in cubicles all day with a bunch of unhealthy people? No thanks
Remote work works for the environment, the employer and employees!
Accept the new normal and move on.
Yeah One day soon the government gonna be working for us.....get alittle taste of the real world......bet they would change a whole lot of policies then if they had to live like us
Just say no. What can they really do?
Never gonna happen. That ship has sailed. Adapt or lose money, competent employees, and productivity
