After last week’s revelation by the Sunday Times that the UIF intended to invest the money in Thuja Capital Fund, Thulas Nxesi this week intervened and stopped the deal pending an explanation from his director-general Thobile Lamati.

Those who have full time employment will now qualify after 4 years for UIF pity for those working short terms because it will take them longer than 4 years to accumulate required points
