The warehouse appetite in South Jersey is strong, a recent report noted.

Nearly 48 acres of land, located at what was formerly known as the Salem Business Center, will be the future home to three warehouse buildings, according to a release last week put out by the Carneys Point property’s new owners, D2 Collins LLC of Philadelphia.

Since 2019, D2 Collins, an affiliate of D2 Organization, has completed over 2.75 million square feet of industrial development projects in Salem County alone, according to the firm. The purchase includes the acquisition of 1, 3, 4, and 7 Collins Drive, located at the interchange of Interstate 295 and Route 48.

The Delaware River and Bay Authority, a bi-state governmental agency, will no longer have an ownership presence at the former business center.
