Instagram just released 'Quiet Mode' — its own version of 'Do not disturb' – but it is not in SA yetInstagram unveiled a feature called"Quiet Mode" which is intended to help people focus and set boundaries— especially teens.Instagram unveiled new features for users to manage their time and preferences on Thursday.The platform also released new features for users to avoid content they're not interested in.

"[W]e hope to bring it to more countries soon," the company said, though there is no indication yet when the likes of South Africa will have the new mode. Once the feature is enabled, users won't receive notifications, their status will change to alert other users that they're in Quiet Mode, and Instagram will send an auto-reply to anyone who direct messages them,When the user turns the feature off, they'll receive a summary of all the notifications they missed, MetaThe feature is intended to"help people focus and to encourage people to set boundaries with their friends and followers,"While the feature is available to users...
