'Sa pagiging waiter, nabastos ako. Parang inu-underestimate ako dahil titingnan ka mula ulo hanggang paa,' he said.

According to an episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," Dario Lorenzo is the son of a farmer from La Paz, Tarlac. Life was difficult, so he did not get to finish his studies.

"Sa pagiging waiter, nabastos ako. Parang inu-underestimate ako dahil titingnan ka mula ulo hanggang paa," he said. "'Yung 'customer is always right' is ridiculing the humanity. Kailangan nga mas may pagsaludo at mataas tayong pagkilala sa mga manggagawa dahil actually they are the backbone of our industry," he said.

He then decided to come home and start his own catering business with his wife Genielyn. And as a former waiter himself, he vowed to protect his employees. With his catering business succeeding, Dario was eventually able to buy properties for his family. Aside from their own home and a ride, they now have a farm resort and some land.

Dario said he owes it to his late parents, who raised him well despite their difficult life. His mother passed away in 2017 due to cancer, while his father died last year due to an accident.
