Microsoft is currently fighting for regulatory approval for its planned acquisition of Activision Blizzard, and while it seems to be having a tough time, Xbox boss Phil Spencer is"more confident" than ever that it'll be approved.
A number of anti-trust lawsuits, concerns raised by the likes of Google and Nvidia, and outright opposition from PlayStation's Sony, all stand in the way of Microsoft's plans to acquire Activision Blizzard — but somehow, Xbox boss Phil Spencer is"more confident now" that the deal will be approved.
Within the same conversation, Spencer also reiterated Microsoft's hopes to increase its market share on mobile, which would be greatly aided by Activision Blizzard King's experience with the likes of Call of Duty: Mobile, Diablo Immortal, and Candy Crush.this year? The deal will happen. I just hope it happens before Diablo 4 launch, I’d rather just play via GamePass Ultimate instead of paying full price and knowing fully that it will be on GP later this year.
