i think blackpink will renew and it has long been decided. unlike 2ne1 who faced scandal, bp has none, plus 2ne1 is not the face of yg that time while now bp is the face & main source of income. they are not announcing it yet for anticipation, it is a strategy of yg.
Im not a blink, but from an outside perspective they’ve seem to be thriving in individual solo careeers (modeling, singing, etc). Not to say they aren’t successful as a group, that’s just me tho
