Reserve Bank Governor Philip Lowe has spoken at the AFR Business Summit in Sydney on Wednesday morning to discuss interest rates after a 10th consecutive rate hike took the bank’s official cash rate to 3.6 per cent on Tuesday.

“We do not want inflation to become ingrained and will do what’s necessary to make sure that’s the case,” Mr Lowe said.
