A trial in a defamation suit brought against Fox News by Dominion Voting Systems is set to begin this week. Here's what you need to know.

Dominion is an election technology company. After former president Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden, Dominion alleged Fox pushed various pro-Trump conspiracy theories, including false and potentially damaging information about the company’s voting technology, because “the lies were good for Fox’s business.” Fox is arguing that it was merely reporting the claims made by the Trump administration and Donald Trump’s associates. It filed a defamation lawsuit in 2021.

An entity can’t have just lied, it must have known it was lying at the time, and it has to have been done with “actual malice.” The court has already ruled on the first two, saying that Fox aired lies and knew they were lies, so instead of a question of truth, it’s about whether Fox did so maliciously.

Respectfully, don’t ever tell me what I need to know. I’m the judge of that.

MSM IS ALREADY ON A WITCH HUNT FOR FOX NEWS! Freedom to give both sides of a Story is not against the law!

CNN you need to follow up on the story, because it's not going to go well for dominion.

What the hell is going on in Chicago, why isn’t CNN reporting anything about it?

Going to be funny as hell watching Carlson and Hannity under oath.

The discovery process is going to be very interesting indeed, and not good for Dominion.

First thing to know is that Fox is entering this litigation with an adverse inference instruction for the jury. Good luck with that.

How much did CNN lose to Nick Sandman for defamation?

We don’t need your biased opinions CNN. Thank you

Do you mean this is going nowhere? and the weeks leading up to this were nothing but democrat smoke and mirrors? YOU DON'T SAY?!
