The iconic San Pedro Fish Market opened its new temporary spot dubbed the “Landing” on Friday, May 5.

The San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant is back in business — though a permanent home is still a ways off.

San Pedro Fish Market is open at its’ new location, just a few hundred yards from the original location, in San Pedro on Friday, May 5, 2023. The restaurant, which operated at Ports O’ Call Village closed March 3 and in record time opened this temporary location. Eventually the Fish Market, will have a home at the West Harbor Los Angeles Waterfront Development.

On the restaurant’s last day, folks lined up to carry platters heaped high with fresh fish to the familiar outdoor bench-seat tables at the edge of San Pedro’s shipping channel.
