Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says the modern Labor party “no longer” looks after workers amid claims Qatar Airway’s extra flights were blocked to keep Qantas profitable. “The modern Labor party are effectively in bed with the big business of this country,” he told Sky News Australia. “They‘re doing that with the ‘Yes’ case – they no longer look after the worker or the people who are just trying to pay for airline flights. “They’re very, very comfortable in the major boardrooms looking after the big profits of our big business companies.”
