“The development with the airport and the green energy hydrogen deal are major developments that will create jobs and grow our population,” Rose said in an interview Monday. “It will go down in history as the third economic boom in the history of this town.” In the coming weeks, temporary hangars will be installed to store airport vehicles and equipment — to protect them from the elements, including damaging sea spray — or even large planes overnight.
His vision is that a revitalized airport, plus the hydrogen energy project, will help give the local community economic hope, not to mention good jobs for years to come.
