So just let the Germans take over...

Don’t trust Coup THERE WILL BE MASSIVE JOB LOSSES!

washed chicken to enter a once stalwart of the high street

Asda and Sainsbury's are on par with prices this is just scare mongering from people who are simply ignorant and Tesco's are probably feeding that fear let them go ahead it'll do them good Sainsbury's is a British bred company Asda would be proud to merge with them

In the current economic climate wouldn't it be foolish of a government to cancel this merger. The company directors obviously are aware of how things are going and so if they think it's the right thing to do, then let it happen.

Where's Jeopardy ?

I'd stop using Asda if they were taken over by Sainsbury's. Opinion: Sainsbury's and Asda executives will benefit from the proposed merger – but it's unlikely anyone else willThe trouble with deals like this one is that it is often hard to find any winners two, three years out with the exception of the executives whose pay packets only ever head in one direction single leaf lettuce Unfortunately we’ll see thousands of job losses as we see greater concentration of power in the retail sector. The consumer and worker will suffer as billionaires will benefit I’m sure our odious hard right wing government will approve this merger
