A self-storage company is set to open at the former Mothercare HQ site next week.

When the site was announced Cinch director Richard Owen said the unit “provided us with a unique chance to acquire secure warehouse space in an incredibly desirable location”.A description on the business’ website reads: “If you’re running a business in Watford or the surrounding areas of Garston, Leavesden, and Bricket Wood, you don’t need to find a cupboard under the stairs.

“Flexible storage space from Cinch Storage is the easy way to access more space at short notice to deal with fluctuating requirements.” The service is also targeted at individuals and families, such as ahead of house viewings or when temporarily between homes.
