Hvivo, the Irish pharmaceutical services company founded by businessman Cathal Friel, has increased its sales and profit guidance for 2023 after reporting double-digit growth for the first six months of the year.

On Tuesday, the Dublin-headquartered company reported a 52 per cent increase in half year sales to £27.3 million on the back of new contract wins to run clinical trials and human challenge studies on behalf of large pharma and biotech companies.
