The rising cost of living, which has crippled the economy, has played a part in the closure of Cabin Cafe, as the owner admits it has been a difficult couple of months.

A popular east end cafe has announced that it will be closing after a difficult couple of months for the business, leaving customers gutted.

They are calling for customers to visit them over the weekend, and next week, to make use of the stock they have left before they draw the curtains and say goodbye. "As many of you know our catering side of things 'cabin catering' has been amazing! This has took off more than I could have imagined and this is something that I will continue to do going forward. All buffet orders placed already will of course still go ahead and I welcome any new bookings also going forward. Although this is the end of Cabin cafe, it is only the beginning for Cabin Catering.
