Bonnie Quinn could be stuck after McGill's announced it was withdrawing all its services in West Lothian

A West Lothian mum fears she may have to quit her job after a local bus company announced they would be removing services in her area. And despite loving her job, she fears she may have to give it up after McGill's announced they would be withdrawing bus routes in her area.

“I am a single mum and I’m already struggling with them not turning up or when they do turn up, they are full. And that’s challenging especially as my wee boy has autism and ADHD.” McGill’s stated that due to a bus driver shortage hitting a number of bus operators around Scotland and a lack of customers, services would be cancelled at short notice - including the evening and early morning buses.

“I just feel so unsure and worried about the whole situation. I might have to give up my job because I won’t be reliable or if I have to spend money on taxis, then I won’t be able to afford to live properly.”
