LONDON — European markets retreated slightly on Tuesday, with corporate earnings season getting underway as investors continue to assess the turmoil in the Middle East.hovered 0.1% below the flatline in early trade, with basis resources shedding 0.8% to lead losses while health care stocks added 0.4%.
