Stacey Vissers of East Stewiacke, Colchester County, has always been creative and technology comes easy to her. She has found a way to marry these two skills to create her own business.

“I figured worse-case scenario was that I would have some really amazing gifts to give away,” she says. During the creation process, Vissers says everything is first programmed into her computer software. From there, she controls the laser in terms of speed and power to achieve the results she is looking for. This will vary depending on the product and material. The next steps are project-specific, but often includes sanding, priming, painting, assembly and sealing the final product.

Stacey Vissers has been asked to create many items as a memorial to loved ones. Each project means a lot to her as well. ContributedBesides Christmas items, Vissers also makes memorial pieces. One special piece she created stands out. A client reached out to see if she could design a custom memorial ornament. It was to honour a fallen soldier. As Vissers’ husband is a veteran, this was very close to her heart.
