Harrisburg says the opening of a temporary building for Broad Street Market vendors displaced by this summer's fire is being pushed back.Supply chain issues and contractor availability are delaying the installation of some components of the temporary structure's utility system.
A city spokesman said he couldn't give a firm timeline on the opening, though much of the vendor area inside the tent has been installed at this point.More than a dozen vendors are expected to take up shop inside the temporary structure at the corner of 3rd and Verbeke streets. The vendors have been without overhead shelter since the historic Brick Building was gutted by a fire on July 10.
