Springbok Eben Etzebeth – fondly known as “Elizabedi” – has been praised for flying economy on the back of his Rugby World Cup win last month.

Over the weekend, the popular player was seen boarding a local airline from East London back to Durban, where he is based. In a clip posted on TikTok, Eben Etzebeth is seen boarding a last-minute flight from East London to Durban.After posing for pics and receiving a round of applause from passengers, Eben pulled out his Rugby World Cup medal, which he gladly showed off.Meanwhile, Eben Etzebeth is set to return to his club, The Sharks, in KwaZulu-Natal after a mandatory three-week rest, claimsAccording to the publication, the trophy tour counted as the first week.

Eben – who has signed a contract with The Sharks until 2027 – will be up for squad selection from 24 November.
