There will be a parade and light show as part of the celebrations

A Narnain-themed winter wonderland and a pop-up Christmas market will be held in Warrington at the end of the month. The town is hosting a Christmas weekend which is set to be a ‘festive extravaganza’ featuring local art, crafts, food and entertainment.

Queens Gardens will be transformed into a Narnia-themed winter wonderland with the return of the ‘At No.25 Christmas Installation’, created by local artists Erica Wilkinson and Lauren Muir, with support from Warrington and Vale Royal College students. It will feature a magical living snow globe and a mystical Snow Queen, along with enchanting music, lights and a sprinkle of snow.

Here Father Christmas, his elves and the Mayor of Warrington will be assembled for a mesmerising light and sound show. The projections will tell a festive story celebrating Christmas and New Year, with the projections lasting 15 minutes and operating on a rolling basis until 9pm.
