Kota Kinabalu: Visa on arrival is a very good policy that can attract and increase the number of Chinese tourists visiting Malaysia, says Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, Datuk Michael Lui.

“Sabah’s overall social security and tourist attractions are able to attract more overseas tourists as preferred tourist destinations,” he said in a statement, here, Thursday. Speaking about the 15-day visa on arrival measure, he said he hoped the Government would soon expand it for tourists from China and India holding ordinary passports to simplify the visa-on-arrival procedures. He also expects the government to expand entry visa concessions from China and India to other countries as an initiative to attract more foreign investors and tourists.
