Sneakrverse on Bridlesmith Gate closed in late 2023 following a police raid

Police say a man whose Nottingham shop was raided remains under investigation on suspicion of offences including money laundering - as he prepares to launch a new business. Officers from Nottinghamshire Police's financial investigation unit carried out a search warrant at Sneakrverse on Bridlesmith Gate last August.

Mr James now says he is preparing to launch a new business in Nottingham, focused on secure cryptocurrency payment transactions and cyber security. The business will be primarily online-based but will also operate out of an office based on King Street.As well as its focus on payment transactions, the new business is also looking to expand into offering cyber security courses.
