The new restaurant is expected to create 35 jobs

What was once the branch of Barclays, in Town Street, will have a £350,000 makeover to become a new branch of Italian Pranzo. It will be the third restaurant Chef owner Marco Greco has opened in six years.

It is expected around 35 jobs will be created as part of the new venture. Pranzo takes its inspiration from Marco’s family heritage in Calabria, Southern Italy, where he watched his grandmother make homemade pasta mixed with ingredients picked from their garden. Pranzo Italian Horsforth will be in Town Street, and will open May 2024. Operations director Stephen Peace is looking forward to the next chapter in Pranzo’s story.
