Food is included in the tickets for the screenings

GPO is a large food and drink market located in the Metquarter shopping centre. It is the largest food market in the city, with vendors including Torito Taco, Hot Chick and Mor Mor. Now, the venue has launched its own family film club.

Entitled ‘Mini Movie Club’, the venue says it will be ideal to “keep the little ones occupied”. The iconic Matilda film based on the Roald Dahl book will be the first screening this Saturday, February 24 from 12.30pm to 2pm.READ MORE: Jet2 has launched new trips from Liverpool John Lennon Airport This will be followed the next day by animated comedy film Sing at the same time. There will be screenings next weekend of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Bee Movie, with The Sea Beast being shown the week after.
