Political analystsays the criminal justice system is seemingly weak after failing to produce sufficient evidence on time in the Sindiso Magaqa murder case.
Charges against Harry Gwala District Mayor Mluleki Ndobe and uMzimkhulu municipal manager Zweliphansi Skhosana, relating to the 2017 murder of former ANC Youth League Secretary-General Sindiso Magaqa, were withdrawn. “Our criminal justice system is that weak that they can put someone in the cells for a week and fail to come up with charges. We are going to lose confidence in our criminal justice.”
“I think we need to be very worried because we are starting to suspect again that the same old tricks are coming back with using state machinery to fight political battles.
