"We are going to do everything we can to make sure that accidents like this never happen again,” Sinnett told a packed room of 67 media professionals. The briefing occurred before the company met with more than 200 pilots, technical leaders, airline representatives and regulators ― all of whom have a stake in the 737 Max, which has been forbidden to fly passengers in the United States, Europe and China for almost two weeks.

Several foreign airlines expecting 737 MAX deliveries, including Virgin Australia, the U.A.E.’s flydubai, and India’s SpiceJet, said they’ve sent representatives to Renton. Safety concerns over the 737 Max emerged around the world after March 10 when a Boeing Max 8 operated by Ethiopian Airlines crashed minutes after takeoff, killing 157. It came just months after another Max 8 crashed off the coast of Indonesia under similar circumstances, killing 189. The FAA concluded, based on satellite data and evidence from the wreckage, that the two accidents had enough in common that the Max 8 should be grounded.

.This really makes me angry The FAA and Boeing are in bed together The fox watching the hen house They charge for safety instruments on their planes The pilots only had 1 hour or no training on these planes & the problem wasn't even noted in the pilots instruction /safety manuals

I’m sure they do. But given that over 300 people have died on 2 of their aircraft, apparently due to the same software issue, I fail to understand why they have the choice. FAA should be taking them apart. Boeing 737MAX

I’m not flying in that that shit any more....

President Trump just warned russia to pull out of Venezuela. Try some real reporting.

I smell cover up.
