. The high-performance and premium laptop is powered by Intel Meteor Lake processors and will be available in some selected markets outside China. The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2024 features a 3.2K touch-enabled OLED screen and an overall sleek design. It was released earlier this year in China and it is being marketed as a cheaper alternative to the Apple MacBook Air. The feature list of the model however points to a high-end laptop that possibly thumps the MacBook Air in several aspects.

The MateBook X Pro 2024 weighs less than 1kg and comes in three color options namely black, white, and Morandi blue. It has a CNC-milled unibody chassis, the same as the MacBook Air. The internal architecture utilizes a three-segment PCB design that frees more space for core components and cooling fans. The fans have been improved to deliver 22% more airflow and reduced noise, compared to earlier-generation products. The Intel Meteor Lake processor is another major talking point of the new laptop. These include the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2024 features a 1080p camera with a physical privacy shutter and Windows Hello functionality. It is equipped with a Thunderbolt 4.0 port and a single USB-C port. It supports WiFi 6E and Huawei says that even though the functionality may not be available at launch, it can be switched on via a software update. The laptop has a 72Wh battery that supports 90W charging via USB-C in some regions and 65W in others.
