Lets bring back the good days of ' British leyland ' , jag , the mini are british and should be built in britain lets take companies under state control under the logo british leyland ....!

Does the "UK car industry" trump democratic votes these days?

So they're not stopping? Nice to know. If tories aren't prepared it will hurt the industry

Idiots should have been prepared.

Project fear is ramping up....hold fast Britain, the fact they are making it so hard to leave is to put of other nations leaving...it's difficult,we knew this, the sun will shine on us again soon,we just have to ride it out!

"British car industry" 🤔 Didn't we sell that...?...

You mean our German, Indian and Japanese owned UK car industry?

The breaking news just keeps rolling in ffs zzzzzz

Demanded. Oh my. Sorry UK car industry (oxymoron construct right there), the good people of the UK voted. If it’s not working out for you anymore, as I always say: the door opens both ways. You’ll be missed, but...

Who do they think they are?

So who is pushing this ....well that’s the EU putting pressure on the car industry- and this guy - if you ever need a reality check to see if your a good person or a bad person just ask yourself this “ Do I have the same views as this lying WMD warmonger”

Thats a brilliant idea, hamstring the negotiators. Virtually the only bargaining chip we have left is to Leave on WTO - lets capitulate completely why not

Time is running out & negotiators on both sides must prioritise the agreement of terms for a managed withdrawal and ‘status quo’ transition as soon as possible. ‘No-deal’ Brexit would undermine the industry’s ability to operate & cannot be an option.

The German car industry?

Balls to them! That’s exactly what I voted for.

Big business dictating to democracies exemplifies the corrosive attitude of the EU and why people voted out. It also demonstrates that remain will always side with them against ordinary people.

Hello Dear/Mam, I am a professional Graphic Designer. If you want your business card ? You can see my service in fiverr. Please check-

Bullshit. The SMMT want a trade agreement.... start from a free trade base... simple

Who do the car industry think they are? If the deal isn’t good enough for the UK, it will be a no deal Brexit. The UK imports more than it exports and the EU need us as much, if not more than we need them. There is light at the end of the tunnel, not doom and gloom.

Another variation from "they need us more than we need them". But for the EU, the hit will be temporary (1 year) before sunny upland of taking over all british business.

Well the car industry is not the voice of the people of Britain, we have spoken and we want to leave the EU at all Cost, we want go to under WTO Rules.

These nomarks as in the government and media do not get it.This was a vote by the people of the country, who are the country .It has nothing to do with business or the government as the government work for the people and have to do their bidding.

Your viewers demand an apology from Kay Burley

And SKY conveniently forgot to report this is a planned shutdown bought forward to make it more convenient for BMW .

I am noticing a lot more Ford cars on UK roads. Maybe these are built in Europe too, but if Trump has his way they’ll all be built in the U.S. Europe, through their toffee-nosed stance is in decline.

THE GUYS CONDUCTING 'PROJECT FEAR' NEVER GIVE UP DO THEY!!

Oh dear, the Germans will be unhappy that treasure island is at risk
