For compliance officers and general counsel’s offices, the new guidance provides more clarity about the department’s priorities and could help them advocate internally for their budgets and priorities, said Nathaniel Edmonds, a lawyer at Paul Hastings LLP who previously served as assistant chief of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act unit at the Justice Department.

It also directs prosecutors to evaluate compensation incentives, and whether a company has oversight of third-party relationships, such as audit rights to scrutinize vendors. These compliance programs are bulls***. Just an excuse to let crooked (but politically powerful) companies and their executives off the hook. The entire idea that a corporation (especially one with a history of lawbreaking) can be trusted to do the right thing is laughable

Complying to who! The Consigliere ? The Justice System is not working. The Dictator has thrown out the constitution, the role of law. Marshall Law is around the corner. Stephen Miller's SS troops are waiting.

Trump’s giving new compliance guidelines? We’re going to have another crash aren’t we?
