Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a hooded thief burst into a mini market in Gorton with a machete.
He was carrying a machete as well as a suitcase. The suspect demanded money from the worker before a 'physical altercation' broke out between them.The shop worker was pushed to the floor during the attack as bread baskets were launched towards him. The thief grabbed the till before he fled the scene, officers said.
Anyone who recognises him is being urged to get in touch. Officers also want to speak to anyone who has information about the incident, or CCTV or dashcam footage.
