The nights are getting longer, rain is pouring down , and there's a chill in the air: summer is basically over.
Designed with a round neckline, drop shoulders, long sleeves and pockets, the quilted jacket is elegant and is finished with an open design. Although, if I wanted to fasten it, I've a brooch in mind that'll keep it together and complement the jacket while keeping me even warmer. It's a delicious double design whammy that makes the styling possibilities multiply. On one side, you've got close knit ditsy flowers and black trim piping on the hem and pocket, leaving the jacket awash with hues of pink and splashes of green. On the other side, a larger floral pattern decorates it, highlighting the classy black background upon which pops of pink and green dance.
What I will say, however, is that like many Nobody's Child garments , the jacket is on the larger side. I chose this specifically as I want to be able to fit a jumper on it come the deep, dark depths of December. So, if you want a more snug fit, best to size down. For reference, I'm a size 8-10 and I've got the S.
