(Reuters) - Microsoft will hold a summit on Tuesday to discuss steps to improve cybersecurity systems, after a faulty software update from CrowdStrike caused a global IT outage in July.

PETALING JAYA: The Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, officially launched the Malaysia-China Halal Business Forum in Shanghai, China 2024 and delivered the keynote address to 200 attendees.

The MCA President wrote that during his speech, Ahmad Zahid noted that globally, the halal industry is growing at a rate of 9.3% and has reached a value of USD3 trillion and that Malaysia has allocated 14,300 acres for halal hubs to produce products for the global halal market.
