Lee Se Hee Transforms Into A Fashionista Ahead Of Her Time In “A Virtuous Business”

A remake of the British television series “Brief Encounters,” “A Virtuous Business” will tell the story of the independence, growth, and friendship of four women who delve into door-to-door sales of adult products in a rural village back in 1992, when it was still taboo to talk about sex.

Lee Se Hee plays Lee Joo Ri, a fashionista who loves bold fashion and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Joo Ri runs a beauty salon, and whenever she shows up, her stunning outfits and trendy style turn the village into her personal runway. In the released stills, Joo Ri’s bold hairstyles, makeup, and form-fitting clothes showcase her dazzling fashion sense.

However, Joo Ri’s fashion-forward style is a bit ahead of its time in her conservative village. As a single mom raising a son on her own, she often faces judgmental looks and even inappropriate stares. But Joo Ri doesn’t let it bother her. She laughs it off, asking, “Why should I dress based on what some man says when I’m not even his wife?”
