Tshwane’s Firefighters are extinguishing the fire.

We’re getting reports that a power station in Kwagga in Tshwane has exploded leaving the Pretoria City Centre, Pretoria West, Atteridgeville, Pretoria North and Soshanguve without electricity.

The City of Tshwane X page is reporting that all Southern parts of Tshwane are affected by the outage and that firefighters are busy extinguishing the fire and that once they’ve finished the power will be switched back on.Fire department has completed extinguishing the fire. The City of Tshwane Technicians are on site and preparing to start energising areas in phases. Update will follow once the switching operation has startedTshwane’s Firefighters are busy extinguishing the fire .
