Whitfield Foods Inc. is selling its assets to SoGo Packaging LLC.

Whitfield is a beverage co-packing business with its signature brand Alaga labeling syrup and hot sauce, plus its Yellow Label syrup products.

The company says the asset purchase agreement means certain assets Whitfield uses will be acquired by SoGo, meaning SoGo will operate the Montgomery site. The company says this will not impact jobs.“I want to thank our incredibly talented employees for their continued focus and hard work, and our customers and suppliers for their support,” Whitfield’s president, Joe Friday, said in a news release.The release says SoGo is a new company formed through the collaboration of Mark S.

The purchase agreement is expected to close on Oct. 31.
